After two years of pandemic isolation, the design community didn't need another digital moment — it needed a room. Temporarily Available was a self-produced, three-month pop-up retail experience conceived through ADITIONS, bringing 12 independent Bay Area furniture designers and design practices under one roof in a Berkeley storefront — part retail, part exhibition, part reunion. The premise was simple: celebrate local talent, give independent designers a platform, and create the kind of in-person experience the industry had been starving for. The opening night drew over 1,000 people.
